The “info” button provides information on the map, including: description, data, and methods used. For experiment maps, the info also includes the Analytical Tool and experiment question.

The “home” button zooms the map to its original starting viewpoint.

The “legend” button displays layers and symbols for data on the map.

The “layer” button provides a list of active map layers that enables the use to turn the layer off. Use the checkbox to control visibility.

The “attribute” button displays a tabular view of the each layers data. In addition to linked excel files, uses can also use this tool to export the data into a CSV file. Click options.

The “summary” button allows the user to a count of features (e.g. number of incidents in a particular area) for the map.
